"Hundreds of Doctors, Medical Students, Nurses and Staffs working 24×7 to provide better health treatment for everyone. People from all nearby districts Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Malkangiri come here for treatment. All types of Blood tests, Stool, Urine tests, Radio-diagnosis such as CT scanning, HRTC, X-ray are done here, ECG you can do any day from 10am to 1pm. Ultrasound, Cytopathology(closed on holidays). Had really good experience with Ultrasound. The operator was nice, not in a hurry, but patient and mindful, taking all their time to see if there's anything wrong. Colonoscopy service is not here. Endoscopy service available. Endoscopy is done on Wed and Thursday only. 10am-12pm. You would have to carry some blood reports for precaution - ICTC, HCV, HBsAg reports. Lots of people come for treatment, so don't expect perfectionism. The whole staff members including the security staffs do their best because they understand they're saving many many lives. Thank you, Koraput SLNMCH. Much love from a Nabarangpur-ia."

"Very good building in remote ( Koraput ) of Odisha with nice scenery . At present the Medical College is not that famous in this area due to lack of facilities / experienced staff . People of this undivided district still prefer to go to Visakhapatnam ( Andhra Pradesh ) in case of emergencies and other necessary Health check up ."

"Hi Everyone, I would like to share my experience we had in Koraput GOVT Hospital last 6 days (specially in the maternity ward). It might be good 5 years back but not now! It's not clean and hygienic at all. The bath rooms are broken and no doors or broken doors, very dirty and bad smell in the ward where they keep all the women and children after delivery. Fans are not working and no plan for proper power back-up even in the Children's ICU. The power went off nearly 1 hr and that interrupted the phototherapy of the children who were being treated for Jaundice and the room was totally dark and we had to switch on the mobile light. Most of the staffs are very rude and unfriendly and have very bad attitude and they don't even look after the patients and everything we only needed to do. Lift also not working nd patients re forced to use stairs! The most dangerous thing I noticed is the rats all over in the same ward where the patients were there along with the new born kids. Also, I stayed 6 days and I never saw a proper well experienced doctor rather the students from the medical college who are just practicing here. I would recommend totally NOT TO GO TO THIS HOSPITAL if you don't have such an emergency or no choice. Please look out for other options for treatment for betterment for your family. Thank you."
